Shawn started his illustrious career fronting the band "Fierce Octave" for 2 years. After that he join "Heart Attack", a cover band of all the hot music at that time, which just happened to be "Hair Metal". Shawn then decided he wanted to write and perform his own music...
He brought together members of bands "Heart Attack" and "Striker Ally" and started the original Hair Metal project "Wild Child". "Wild Child" enjoyed some regional success touring the East Coast. There was even some record company interest, but along came Grunge, which as we all know just about killed every Hair Band we knew and loved.
Disillusioned with the state of the music industry, Shawn took some time off. With the exception of putting together the band "Inner Child" with former members of "Fierce Octave" for a year in 1996, Shawn had spent most of his time writing and recording on his own.
Growing restless, Shawn decided he missed playing live, and playing his favorite music, 80's Hair Metal. Shawn and John Pope started making plans to create the biggest 80's tribute band on the East Coast. That band is "Timezone".

Among Shawn's many influences are: David Lee Roth, Jon Bon-Jovi, Steven Tyler, and in his own words, "All the good hair bands".
