Timezone

Lenny Lopez:
Bass, Vocals

EXPERIENCE: Lenny is a self taught musician who started playing bass at the age of 12 after being inspired by the talents of Billy Sheehan who at the time was in the band "Mr.Big". In high school Lenny played in the band "Fool's Circus" that performed many local events. After high school he continued to play music ranging in styles from jazz to funk. No matter what project he was in Lenny always gravitated towards 80's rock music. "Purple Hairs", "Category 5", "MIRICHLE", and "Big Hair" are some of the bands that enabled Lenny to fine tune his skills as a rock bassist. After leaving his latest 80's project, "Big Hair" Lenny immediately wanted to find an already established cover band that he could continue to challenge himself with. While searching online for a new band he recieved an email from Shawn inquiring about a new bass player. Lenny was not sure if 80's music was what he wanted to keep playing, but after visiting Timezone's website and talking to Shawn he instantly knew this would be the right choice for him. From the very first meeting with the guys they all felt an instant connection. Everyone has the same goal to make "Timezone" the best 80's tribute band around.

INFLUENCES: Billy Sheehan, Getty Lee, Jaco Pastorius, Flea, and Victor Wooten
