EXPERIENCE: John got his first guitar on his sixteenth birthday. It was a piece of crap that ripped the skin off of his fingers, but he played anyway. He began his local career playing in acts such as "Adrenaline" and "Orpheus". But he didn't really achieve any notoriety until he helped form "Fierce Octave" in the mid 80's. This was a high energy hair band that also included Norman and Shawn.

After "Fierce Octave", he played in an original act "Inner Childe" with Shawn. After some bad experiences with the original scene and the beginning of Grunge, John hung it up for a few years. But the desire to play caused him to form "Core", a local act that played mainly contemporary rock. Not being satisfied with this style of playing, John hooked up with "M-80", a band that was in tune with his style of playing... that being 80's hair bands. "M-80" enjoyed regional notoriety and played from New Hampshire to Connecticut.

When "M-80" disbanded, John approached Norman and Shawn, his long time friends in the local rock scene. They began forming the foundations of what is the hottest, most intense band in the New England area, "Timezone". They needed a bassist and a lead guitarist. Kevin had played a few gigs with "M-80" and with his powerful background vocals was the logical choice. It took nine months and countless guitar auditions to find the fifth member. Jeff walked in and played like he was with us from the start.

And so begins a new chapter...
