Jay Ferrazzani a.k.a NIKKI DALL started playing at the age of 13 when he received his first electric guitar. Immediately starting the band "Without Warning" with his best friends, they wrote a ton of songs and entertained their friends around the Waltham area. Jay was never seen without his trusty acoustic guitar, and would always wind up playing at any event that he could, always cranking out the classic power ballads from the 80's.
At the age of 21 he moved to L.A. to pursue a dream in making music for a living. In 96' the type of music that was popular was not what he was interested in. After 2 years he moved back to Boston and hung up the guitar and didn't play actively again until he met a fellow guitarist looking for a bassist for the band "Alibi". Being new to bass it took a little time to get used to, but after a year of intense playing, he was getting the hang of it. After "Alibi" he formed the band "Polarity" and became more and more inspired.
One day he walked into a local music store to buy his first Gibson Les Paul and the salesman helping him that day was none other than Stony Curtis of "VooDoo Screw Machine". The two hit it off immediately and eventually Stony asked him to join his second band "Flash In Blue". This sparked new life in the band, and in Jay, and the band began performing all over Boston, performing on radio, and private shows.
When Stony became the lead guitarist of "TIMEZONE", not only was Jay excited for him, but also a little jealous too because of all the great 80's music they played. Well, as fate would have it, the band needed a new bassist and waiting eagerly in the wings was Jay........and Nikki Dall was born!
